A huge thank you to everyone who helped to support the Pop- Up Museum. It was a big success and 2622 people participated across 42 days with 334 visitor surveys completed. A stunning 43 events across the period with 1424 children (and some adults) participating in the activities and sessions. During that time 15kg of clay was used, over 2,000-coin blanks and around 6kg of pulses for clay animals.

As a result of various consultations throughout the summer including a visitor survey and the Pop-Up museum & activity centre, the Countryside Team at SSDC are progressing an application to the National Lottery’s Heritage Fund for Ham Hill Country Park. The project will look to address various elements of managing the busy country park including habitat management improvements, heritage protection for the Iron Age hillfort, visitor engagement, information and improvements for accessibility. We’ll keep you updated with progress!
